Who needs this course

Any person working higher than two meters above the ground, where the possibility of a fall exists. Workers who require a very basic understanding of how to work safely at height and who will be supervised at all times. Unskilled and uneducated learners who have special needs in terms of learning, writing and language barriers.

Who needs this course

The Fall Arrest Technician course Level 2 is aimed at small working teams (such as the telecoms industry, the power distribution industry and technical rigging industry) that need to use a combination of fall arrest systems, install their own temporary systems and perform their own rescues if required. Small teams using this course can only operate without supervision if a risk assessment, a fall protection plan and worksite procedure is in place.

Who needs this course

The Fall Arrest Supervisors Learning program is aimed at persons who have to supervise large working groups of people that have successfully completed the Basic Fall Arrest Technician Course. After completing this learning program a Fall Arrest supervisor will be able to: plan for working at height, compile all required documentation (such as a risk assessment and fall protection plan) and be able to: rescue an unconscious victim in a fall arrest situation.

Duration

The course can be completed in 3 days with an assessment. After 21 days you will no longer be allowed to submit or complete the course. you will then have to rebook and redo the entire course.
